My name is Melanie, and I love animals.

Seriously.

Not only do I think they are better than most people (because they are), but I also believe that they deserve a whole lot more respect and care than they are given.

That’s why I’m here.

To help raise awareness, let you in on some fun facts, give tips on how you can help, and share some stories you can relate to when it comes to both the cat on your couch and the elephants on the other side of the world.

I’ll be sharing some cute pictures of those animals, too.

My late cat, Snickers, is reason why I’ll spend the rest of my life doing everything I can to make the world better for cats – and all other animals, for that matter.

She’s just that awesome.
